MITESH KHETRAPAL

Creative Director & Chief (External Affairs)

Mr. Khetrapal is our Creative Director, Expert, and Educator. He has a very long professional experience in software development in SEI-CMM level 5 companies (Accenture)  and has extensive exposure to various technologies like – Database Management System and web-based environments using Oracle9i, Oracle10g, Sybase, Java, and Servlets. Other than MCA, he has various Oracle certifications (OCA/OCP) in both the DBA and Developer track. He also has in-depth knowledge of financial markets and has cleared various NSE certifications including the Derivatives Market Dealers Module. He is also Level-2 NSE certified market professional.

he had also been associated with JP Morgan Chase the biggest bank in the united states of America in various roles including database administrator, PL/SQL developer, and senior software engineer. He primarily works with the Morcom team which was in the role of clearing corporation and provides clearing for most of the trading done by different JP Morgan clients. He was instrumental in migrating the JPMC Morcom ExtraClear database from Sybase and DB2 to Oracle. He created various utilities for migrating the database and played a pivotal role in performance tuning of the database, for which Mitesh received a lot of recognition from the client.

He also worked with the Boston-based Wellington group having more than $ 1 trillion of assets under management. As part of this project Company Security Master (CSM), he was responsible for managing the reference data of the client which includes instruments like equity, FI, F&O, PREF Stocks, swaps, and Bonds. This reference data is used by all the trading and compliance applications.  He played an instrumental role in implementing the Dodd frank reform mandated by the US government after the financial market crash of 2008. He was responsible for understanding and creating generic securities of various derivatives instruments like credit default swaps(CDS), credit default indexes(CDX), Exchange rate swaps, total return swaps, and other complex instruments.

After quitting the IT industry in 2014, he worked with a Lawbook publication house as an Editor and has a very good understanding of Law. He is an avid reader and love to read financial and business books for 3 to 4 hours daily. He is currently an independent investor managing his own portfolio.
